The Jimmy Star Show has been nominated for The Shorty Award for Best Webshow, which includes web based TV and Radio Shows, and is the equivalent to The Academy Awards for Social Media.
The Shorty Awards honor the best in social media; recognizing the people and organizations producing real-time short content across Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, Foursquare and the rest of the social web.
Every year, millions of people visit the Shorty Awards site to support their favorite social media content creators by tweeting nominations. All those tweets culminate in a highly anticipated awards ceremony that celebrates the winners as chosen by categories.
